In my current passport, I have two immigration stamps:
1. Leave to Remain expiring June 2008
2. Indefinite Leave to Remain (which I obtained in the midst of the aforementioned leave to remain).
I was wondering that since I now have the ILR stamp, does my Leave to Remain stamp need to be "cancelled" in some way in my passport?
My fear is that if I leave and enter the UK (before June 2008) and the immigration officer somehow misses my ILR stamp and admits me on the basis of the Leave to Remain, does that nullify my ILR?
