General Visitor Visa or Family Visitor Visa?? Confused!!!

Post by shughal » Mon Apr 21, 2014 11:29 pm

Hi All,

I need some guidance here and I would be really thankful if someone could spare some time for it for the provision of specific information.

I am here in England on Tier (1)-General Visa and have recently applied on ILR (Long residence). My younger brother who is in Dubai wana visit here in UK. First thing is, which Application form he should filled in, Family Visitor or General Visitor as I have read on UKBA website that you have to be permanently settled in UK for a Family Visitor that i have not got so far and the second thing is I am unable to provide my passport and bio-metrics (if they need originals, I am not sure anyway) as they are all in the Home Office.
If further explanation is required or I could not elaborate my question properly, would you kindly ask.

Kind regards

General visitor category as you are not settled yet. Photocopies of your passport and BRP is fine, you don't have to send originals.

Char (CR001 not Casa)
