10 - year basis ILR Booking appointment - Information

Post by sachinjoshilondon201 » Tue Sep 08, 2015 7:53 pm

Hi all, I Have entered in country in 21st December 2005. I am thinking to book appointment at the end of November 2015 or beginning of December 2015. I hope I am legally allowed that date.

1. How many days in advance should I call Home Office to book to get appointment? as they I want to finish this matter this year. ( I mean to book, to get the slot for appointment)

2. How do I pay? what is the best way to pay?

3. What number to call?

4. What are my rights ? ( In case, lets say worst situation can i discuss or meet case worker, because I want to go with all preparation and Knowledge because I don't want to come back and then reply to them because it gives more pressure and waste of time and money, if i get chance to speak with case worker why not? )

5. What are my rights? I mean right to appeal ? or reapply? or to take HO to tribunal? ( I want to know as it helps and no one tells us about our right)

6. What Centre shall I choose ? does it really matter ( I live in london) but heard that some centres are lineant and some one said 'Saturday' is good as they rush going home.

7. If they call me back by putting my case on hold, can I take solicitor with me ? or if they call me for interview can I take solicitor with me?

Please advise

Appointments are released and available up to 42 days in advance. Too early now to book for the time you will qualify.

2. How do I pay? what is the best way to pay?
You pay the £1,900 fee online when you book the appointment. There is no other way to pay.

3. What number to call?
There is no number. You have to do it online, see Booking an In Person PSC appointment for ILR (Click)

4. What are my rights ? ( In case, lets say worst situation can i discuss or meet case worker, because I want to go with all preparation and Knowledge because I don't want to come back and then reply to them because it gives more pressure and waste of time and money, if i get chance to speak with case worker why not? ) What do you mean rights? You either qualify for long residence ILR or you don't. If they have questions they MIGHT ask you on the day. If they cannot process if due to needing to do further checks, your application will take longer (a few weeks).

5. What are my rights? I mean right to appeal ? or reapply? or to take HO to tribunal? ( I want to know as it helps and no one tells us about our right) Administrative review has replaced appeal rights in April this year.

6. What Centre shall I choose ? does it really matter ( I live in london) but heard that some centres are lineant and some one said 'Saturday' is good as they rush going home. It is your choice. It makes no difference, again, you have to meet the requirements and if you do not, you will be refused.

7. If they call me back by putting my case on hold, can I take solicitor with me ? or if they call me for interview can I take solicitor with me? You can, but it won't do much. Again, you either qualify or you don't.
Do you meet the English B1 level requirement and have you done life in the UK test?

Have you looked at the Set(LR) form and guidance notes yet?
Char (CR001 not Casa)
