URGENT ENQUIRY LOST BRP

I am an Indian student in the UK on a tier 4 visa for a one year course and have lost my BRP card. Will I need to order a replacement BRP? I dont have any travel plans but was wondering if my BRP will be needed to leave the UK an to enter India even if I do not need to enter the UK again?

Not required to leave the UK or enter India.

But you have to report it to the police and HO and will likely have to get a replacement.
