thanks for your reply.
No, I have a new passport, however some of my uk visas are stamped on the damaged/expired passport. The visas on the passport are reasonably visible (according to me!) - I am just concerned that HO might not be convinced with its clarity on the entry/exit dates in the future. This could create an opportunity for them to reject my ILR application.
The only reason that I thought of SAB is because I can use this as an evidence if any problem does arise in future. As my records could possibly be deleted from their computer system, all the evidence they would have is my old passport, which they may not be convinced with due its clarity. With SAB request, I would have some sort of proof to state that they held records about me in the past but just not present at the time of my application.
Am I being overly pre-cautious?
Thanks
