BRP Online Application

Hello everyone, I have an ILE in my passport that expired in May 2019. I was going to apply for naturalisation but i had not done my English test and since they do not accept expired passports i have now learned i need to apply for a BRP for proof of right to work and to sit that test.
I have filled in the online application form for the BRP however its refusing to accept the expiry date on one of the sections where they need you to enter the details of your passport or travel document number as it says it has to be a date in the future.
What do i do?

You need a valid passport to apply for a brp.
Char (CR001 not Casa)
