Query on Applying Standard Visitor for Parents

My Tier-2 General visa is valid till November-2023. I want to apply standard visitor for my parents. In this situation can I apply for 5 years/ 10 years of visitor visa where my visa is valid for 3 years only.

The validity of your visa has no correlation, and the same wont sway the outcome of their visas. Better to start from 6 months if that will be their first time of application.

The expiry date of your visa is irrelevant to your parent's visa application. However, have they previously held a UK visitor visa?

This will be their second time as they have travelled on a 6 months visa in 2018 summer. My parents are over 75 yrs and it's difficult for them to do the documentation every time. That is why I was planning to apply for a 5 yrs visa.

But was worried as my visa is valid for 3 years only. If you have any link or any gov documents which you can share it will be great!

There is 6months, 2yrs, 5yrs. It may be better to apply for another 6months or 2yrs visitor visa first and bt demonstrated compliance with the provisions guiding the visa can go ahead to apply for the 5yr and onwards visa.

Nothing is posted anywhere rather is electronically uploaded & dispatched which even a sponsor can perform from abroad and applicant can be escorted to the centre for biometrics with any other family member/care taker.
