I'm sorry but SEGS eligibility period is counted from the day you received your results and not the day the student visa expired.I completed my degree in 2005. My student visa expired 31 October 2005.
I take it back. It refers to the list of courses. You're probably ok till (1 yr + end of student visa).I'm sorry but SEGS eligibility period is counted from the day you received your results and not the day the student visa expired.
I am now on a Working Holiday Visa which expires in 2007.
Doesn't it mean that you have to study between October and 2007 whatever date WHMV expires? If that's so SEGS could be a problem from my limited knowledge on this subject. No benefit really, apart from the fact that I will be able to work for one more year. I'm only allowed to work until October on my WHMV.
According to the switching rules you should have been in WHMV for atleast 12 months and possess an in-country WP to switch. No need for another EC.I was speaking to someone today who said that I can return to my home country, and then get my employer to apply for a work permit for me, then apply for Entry Clearance to the Uk
