Hello,
I'm planning to switch Tier 1 PSW Visa to Tier 2 General within UK. Here are questions I have.
Q1. I requested COS number to employer and they assigned me one. But, while I'm checking the information on COS, I've found that employer made a mistake to fill gross salary figure. I requested HR to amend this COS information but they said can't amend it as Cos had been assigned. Employer said they will write the sponsor note in COS state that they made a mistake to type gross salary figure. Also, they will provide me a letter to explain about this and to confirm gross salary figure. Employer said it would be ok to get a visa. But I'm bit worried about whether Home Office refuse application or not based on this ground. Are really sponsor note and letter enough to cover the mistake they had made on COS? Or is Home office going to refuse the application with this COS? What is the best way to deal this problem? Or am I too much worry about this?
Q2 to Q4 are regarding Tier 2 application form
Q2. M10. Gross annual salary (not including allowance)
M11. Annual Allowance( if any)
Where to include guaranteed bonus portion in M10 or in M11??
Q3. C3 do you have any passport or travel document which contains a previous grant of leave or which you used when you last travelled to the UK? Yes or No
I only have current passport, which has entry UK Visa on it, do I need to tick yes or no??
Q4. H2. Your Home Office reference number
What is this number? I do have some letter when I apply to PSW, that contains digit number only. Is that the one?
It would be grateful if you could answer these questions. Thank you.
