Tier 2 general visa granted for few days less in 5 years

Post by Ishika » Sat Dec 13, 2014 11:47 am

Hi Manci,

I had applied for 5 year Tier 2 general visa. I received my visa today, visa shows that it is valid from 15/12/14 up until 01/12/19, which is 15 days less in 5 years. My question is that will I be eligible to apply for ILR after expiry of current visa?

Many thanks,
Ishika

You may apply for ILR no sooner than 28 days prior to the completion of your qualifying period for ILR and preferably before your leave expires.

If you cannot do this, then there are options.
