Urgent: Tier2(General) BRP & Date of arrival

Hi, I'm applying for Tier2(general). at the last moment realized that I have to collect biometric card with in 10days from the arrival date which was given in visa application. is it correct?

I have thought that once I get visa then I can resign for my existing job. But now it forces me to resign for job without getting visa.

Can some one who has recently applied for tier2(general) guide me ?

the sticker on your passport is valid for a certain duration and you have to get the biomeetric card once you reach UK. This is because the biometric cards are not issued abroad.

Why have you applied for Tier 2 General when you have previously stated that you have been granted British Citizenship?

If my friend is unable to travel, document says he has to reapply for it. how much it costs and what is the procedure?

I would suggest your friend joins the forum and asks his own questions.

If he does not want to do that, then please make it clear when you start a post that you are asking for advice on behalf of someone else etc.
