Hi,
I am in the UK on a Tier 2 ICT short term migrant staff visa entered in March 2015 from India. My family : my wife and kids applied for a dependant visa and got the same. My widowed mother who is partially disabled and totally dependant on us applied for a General Visit Visa and got the same and she is also in the UK albeit she can stay maximum upto 6 months on this Visa. Now I am looking at the possibility of my employer extending my short term staff migrant visa to long term staff migrant visa for 2-3 years. However I cannot leave my mother alone in India as she is totally dependant on us. As far as I understand as per the ICT provisions, dependant parents who have no one else to take care of can apply for a dependant of Tier 2 ICT migrant visa though they have a burden of showing extraordinary evidence. My queries :
1. Will the General Visit Visa I applied for my mother bear any impact on the decision for the Tier 2 ICT Dependant application Visa I make for her : In the General Visit Visa I have shown that my mother has property and financial assets in India.
2. What are the chances of getting a success on the Tier 2 ICT Dependant Visa application for my mother.
