Can a Tier 2 ICT Dependant work as a permanent employee

HI ,

My husband has a T2 ICT Long term visa, can he apply for permanent jobs without need of COS ,please clarify.

He can only work for his sponsor. If he wishes to change sponsors to Tier 2 General, there are procedures that have to be followed.

If he was a Tier 2 ICT dependent, he could work for any employer and does not need a COS.

EDIT : Your Topic heading refers to dependent but your post does not. Is he a dependent on your Tier 2 ICT visa??

Yes he is a dependant on my Tier 2 ICT longterm visa.

Then he is free to work without needing a COS.
