Change of Name on Tier 2 Visa

Hi I have a Tier 2 employer Sponsored Visa

I wanted to change my last name and have already done it through a deed poll. My passport and Bio-metric information currently mentions my old name.

I have been informed that I can submit a change of circumstances form to the Visa offices and create a new biometric. However, I want to know whether a deed poll would be sufficient to change my name on the Biometrics or whether I should also change the name on the passport before I forward a change of circumstances form and then go from there?

Dear friends,

I have the same problem in name. My daughter is over 18 and she has Pak passport and ILR on single name. Her passport expired and when she applied for renewal, Pakistan Embassy said, apply for National ID card first, then we changed her name (first name, surname). After getting NI card with surname, she appied for renewal of passport and she got passport with first name and surname, which is different in old passport and ILR biometric card.

Can you please advise me, how to apply for her new ILR biometric card to change her name? what are the requirements in this regard?

Hi guys,

Any one advise me how to change the name on ILR biomteric card according to the changes made on new overseas passport.

1. What kind of form we can use?
2. How much is fee to change of name on ILR biometric card?
3. Do we need to prepare "Change of name deed poll form" and send as well?
