Tier 2 ICT short term extension

Hi,

I have a UK tier 2 ICT short term visa stamped on 22nd Feb 2015 and valid until 27th Feb 2016. However, unfortunately I could not travel yet. Tier 2 short term visa does not allow extensions, however, is it possible that if I get an opportunity and travel during Dec or Jan, will the border agency consider the fact that I only happened to travel in 10th month and allow for extension to complete a stay of 12 months? Or is it that there will be no extensions at all what-so-ever the situation ?

+1 on Sushdmehta's comment and also to add that it is not HO's fault/responsbility if you were unable to travel in line with your visa start date.
