Passport and visa procedure for child born in India

Post by Sagar Panseriya » Sun Dec 13, 2015 1:00 pm

Dear Experts,

I am in UK on Tier 2 ICT Long Term Staff (stamped in October 2013) valid till October 2016, extendable till October 2018. My wife and I have Indian passports and (only) Indian nationality.

My baby will born in India in February 2016. I am trying to understand the procedure to get Indian passport and UK visa for my child.

I tried searching many places but getting different answers leading to confusion. It would be great help if any expert (or similar experience) can help me with providing details of the procedure OR point me to right direction to get help on this.

Many thanks in advance,
Sagar

Apply for an Indian passport after baby is born.

Once you have the passport, apply for a Tier 2 ICT dependent visa, see Tier 2 ICT Dependent (click) and PBS Dependent Guidance Notes (Click)
