Hi,
I have recently applied for Tier 2 general extension (up to 3 years) and my application has been approved and i have received my passport and BRP card. But in the BRP card the valid until date printed as 08/01/2018 when applied for up to 25/12/2018 as per my Cos and immigration health charge.
My visa history:
1. Student - 28/01/2009 - 30/11/2010
2 - PSW - 13/12/2010 - 13/12/2012
3 - Tier 2 General - 24/05/2013 - 26/12/2015 (The gap between PSW and Tier 2 General due to application refusal and later i appealed and granted the Tier 2 visa from 24th May. I believe the gap would be consider under PSW.) - 2 years and 7 months approx.
4 - Tier 2 General Extension - 24/01/2016 - 08/01/2018 - less than 2 years.
The recent Tier 2 General Extension application is based on CoS (26/12/2015 - 25/12/2018) and i paid immigration health charge for 3 years.
Do you guys think it was mistake by Home Office or they give the visa validity random to Cos and Immigration health charge. I really need some advice because i have only 10 days to go back to Home Office if there is a mistake.
Thank you in advance.
