Tier 2 Dependent Visa

Post by ukboys09 » Tue Feb 09, 2016 7:20 pm

Hi Experts,

I got Tier 2 Visa on premium service and I am planning to apply for my wife and son dependent Visa.

Do I need to wait until BRP card arrives or can the dependent apply before the BRP card arrives for main applicant.

My understanding is that BRP card is just card.

Thanks,
Shan

BRP is not "just" a card. It's a legal home office document which shows validity dates for your stay in UK. You will need to submit a copy of it along with your dependents application.

+1 - the BRP is your visa and a very important card.

Thanks,

Is it mandatory to submit the BRP card for the application.

Thanks,

:-)

@OP - Response in the format you are expecting - "Yes, it is mandatory to submit the BRP card along with their application."
