Changing Employer : Tier 2 General

Hi All,

I am having Tier 2 general Visa from my current employer. its valid upto 2020. Can I switch Jobs with the same visa, in the same sector? I work in IT sector? Or Do i need to make new application with new employer who would be ready to sponsor?

You need a new approved sponsor and will have to apply for a new visa once RLMT process has been done and CoS is issued.

You will have to pay the immigration health surcharge again if you switch.

Tier 2 General is employer/sponsor specific. You cannot work for anyone else or do contract work.
