Garden Leave and Tier2 Visa upon resignation

Hello

My current Tier2 General Visa ends on 11th June 2016
Due to some circumstances I resigned on 11th March 2016 and agreed with the employer to be placed under 3 month Garden Leave (full salary paid until 10th of June)

After going through some posts in the Forum I am confused about following 2 things

1- Since I am being paid full salary till 10th June - will this date be considered by the UKBA as the last date of employment so that I get more 60 days time in UK (so I can stay till August 2016)?

2- Or since I resigned on 11th MArch - will this mean I can only stay until 10th May?

Normally, folks will have 60 days from their curtailment letter date in case their visa is valid for more than 6 months. In your case, since your visa itself is expiring in Jun-2016, HO will not curtail your leave. You can remain in UK only until your current visa is valid.

So there is no way to get any extension beyond Jun then?

You can only get another visa if you find a new Tier 2 G sponsor. You won't be able to extend your current visa.
