TIER 2 ICT Bypass

I am presently in Tier 2 ICT Visa in UK for 1 year. This is my first visit in UK. Can I resign and switch job within the time period with or without sponsorship from new company?

You would be subject to the 12 month cooling off period outside the UK before you can apply for a tier 2 general visa if you can get a sponsor.

There are no work visas where you do not need a sponsor. For Tier 2 General, you must have an HO approved sponsor and work ONLY for the sponsor.

Thanks for your reply. But somewhere I have read there are 2 bypasses.
1. Get a job with higher salary £120,000 (yearly).
2. Trying to upgrade to Tier 1

Is that information correct?

What exactly do you mean by 'upgrade to Tier 1'?? Which 'Tier 1'??

There is no longer a Tier 1 General route visa. It was closed to new applicants in 2015 and ILR for this route was closed on 5th April 2018.
