Premium service Vs standard service

Hello, One of my friend submitted his tier 2 general application inside UK under premium service category on 28th November. Normally decisions are given same day under premium service but his case went for further enquiries and no response since last 3 weeks. Does such cases goes to standard service timelines of 8 weeks for decision or such cases are still treated on priority? Called helpline number many times but they are not giving any specific reasoning. Can anyone please help.

It depends on your friends circumstances, sponsor duties completed, RLMT if changing employer, SOC etc etc.

Why can't he post his own queries on the forum?? It's his application and only he knows all the details.

Premium service does not guarantee a same day decision.

Thanks CR001. My friend's case is very straightforward and falls under Shortage occupancy so no RLMT required as mentioned on COS. He also tried to put his query on this forum but didn't receive any response hence he requested me for help. What could be next step ? Wait for 8 weeks or any other option available to get some update from home office?
