Tier 2 dependent extension

Post by Drdelacruziii » Tue Jul 02, 2019 3:59 pm

I will be applying for my wife and son extension they have already complied 3 years residency. I just wonder whether ill have an option just to extend their visa to 2 years just for them to complete the 5 years requirement for ILR.

No you won't have an 'option'. A PBS Dependent extension will be for 3 years, as clearly stated in the Immigration Rules. You cannot choose to apply for a lesser visa extension duration.
