Hi Team,

I want to apply tier2 general visa,is it mandatory to submit "police clearance certificate" to apply visa.Appreciate if someone answer this question

Read the tier 2 guideline. If you are a healthcare worker, teacher etc you need. But the guideline eill tell you more than me.

It is always better to be safe than sorry.

The police clearance shouldn't cost much of your time and/or money, as compared to the cost of a Visa rejection.

Sometime the policy guidance is silent on the police clearance and it can come down to the person making the decision on weather to disqualify you based on the police clearance. With which you can lodge a complaint, but then again, having the police clearance in place saves you all that hustle.

So it actually depends on your cost of getting the clearance visa-v the cost of visa rejection.
