Tier 2 dependent visa New Born in UK but applying in Other Country

Hi Experts,

Need some guidance on the below topic.

We were blessed with a Baby Girl in Oct who was born in UK. I'm holding Tier 2 General Visa (with Indian Passport) and my wife and elder son already have tier 2 dependent visa. They are also with me in UK.

We (all of us) have to travel to India soon due to some personal reason and because of this I won't have much time to apply for Tier 2 dependent child visa within UK. For this I'm planning to apply it from India.

1. Is it allowed to apply for T2D (Tier 2 Dependent) Visa in another country for child born in UK?
2. Is it mandatory to apply for visa within UK if child is born in UK and both parents are in UK? If cautious of the delay in appointments and time taken for visa to be granted. I can't be in a situation where I have applied for visa but have not received in time before my departure date.
3. What are the additional things I need to consider while applying for visa? Are there any other restrictions for child visa. I have read that T2D child visa are bit complex to apply.

Please share your advice and any experience in this matter. I would really appreciate.

Of course you are. Not sure why you believe this will be an issue.

No it is NOT mandatory.

You are overthinking. Not sure why you believer there might be any restrictions!!

Note though that maintenance requirement is not needed if you apply within the UK. Likely will be needed if applying abroad.
