Leaving UK before receiving the curtailment letter (company informed Home Office)

Hello ! Need some help here to wrap my head around some confusing thigns:
1- Lost my job in August, company informed Home Office thar they ended my sponsorship.

2-My Tier 2 General visa still valid until October 2020

3-Waited for curtailment letter but it still didn't arrive

4-I have a new job offer in Europe, which I might take soon.

Questions:

1-If I leave before receiving the curtailment letter, does my Tier 2 visa get terminated automatically? Even though it's valid till October?

2-What things will I have to do before leaving UK, do I automatically become a non resident upon exiting?

3- When can I apply for a visit visa again after leaving?

4- Does Home Office send anything by email about curtailment? I even checked Spam folder and still nothing.

Curtailment letters can take a few months. Presumably you are not working in any capacity??

Departing the UK will indeed render your tier 2 as curtailed/cancelled.

2-What things will I have to do before leaving UK, do I automatically become a non resident upon exiting?

Nothing you need to do other than perhaps inform the tax man.

3- When can I apply for a visit visa again after leaving?

At any time if you meet the requirements and can prove strong ties to your country if residence.

4- Does Home Office send anything by email about curtailment? I even checked Spam folder and still nothing.

Only if you have already left the uk at the point of issuing curtailment, though not everyone is informed.
