Salary in COS in order to switch Tier2 General VISA

Hi,

I have gone through all the topics but couldnt find any answering my specific query, hence posting a new topic. Apologies for adding in the list.

I am currently on Tier 2 General VISA. I have two queries, if I change job and hence go for re-stamping of Tier 2 General VISA then-
A) Is it necessary that my future employer has to make a COS with equal or more salary than mentioned in my current COS?
B) Will my 5 year window required for ILR be continue or will it restarted after I switch job?

I am told that if new employer offers COS of lesser salary then the window gets restarted. However, for equal or higher salary OS window continues.

Must meet at the minimum what is stated as experience rate in the SOC. Rlmt if no shortage must reflect the same.

It does not reset!!
