Tier 2 General dependent to Tier 2 General primary conversion

Hi Team.

I was in Tire 2 ICT visa until October 2019. My wife found a sponsorship of Tier 2 General and she became primary applicant of Tier 2 General and me dependent.

Now I found an sponsorship based role who can change me to Tier 2 General primary. As per latest rules

1. Do I need to wait 1 yr ( until 2020 October) to move into primary applicant of Tier 2 General?
2. Can the change be in country or from home country?
3. If my wife changes to dependent, then the ILR period be reset?
4. Could we also apply for ILR with over all 10 yr time.?

Appreciate any quick response on the same. Thank you.

2. You must apply from home country with a restricted cos. You cannot switch within the UK.

3. Yes, the 5 year ilr clock.

4. Yes, if all requirements are met.
