Tier 2 General Visa Change of Employment

Hi All,

Could you please let me know whether Wholesale textiles company is eligible to Sponsor IT Manager role using Tier 2 General Unrestricted Cos/Visa to take care of IT Projects of their business, pls note the company has got Tier 2 General Licence.

As my understanding is only IT companies can sponsor COS for IT roles.

Your understanding is INCORRECT. All companies have IT departments. The sponsor should know what they are able to sponsor and what the requirements are that need to be met.
