Skilled Worker Dependent

Post by Ani1984 » Mon Apr 28, 2025 1:45 pm

Hi Everyone,

my wife was on a skilled Worker Route and got her ILR in March 2025 and My daughter and I am on PBS dependent visa. Since my spouse have got the ILR now do we need to change our Visa or we can continue to stay on the same as we are eligible for the ILR in next 2 months time and our PBS dependent visa is valid until March 2026.

The reason i am asking as my spouse sponsor have now asked her to give consent so that her visa Sponsorship can be ended and her sponsor can update UKVI about the same as my spouse now holds the ILR. I am confused whether updating Home office will affect the status of us as we are still skilled worker dependent.

Appreciate your response on this.

Nothing changes. Your visas remain valid.

You are not sponsoeed by the employer, only your spouse was.
