Applied more than 6 month ahead of my arrival date HELP

Has anyone ever had their applicate date more than 6 months from the scheduled arrival date they put. My scheduled arrive date was 5th April 2023, as my appointment was supposed to be end of October 2022, however I managed to find a slot for an early appointment for 30th September 2022 so took that appointment, forgetting that 30th September 2022 to 5th April 2023 is 6 months and 5 days - over the 6 month maximum. Has anyone else done this/known of anyone who’s done this?? Worried my application will now be rejected.

You can only request a visa to start date 3 months in advance. And it has to be requested, it is not automatic.
