Bank Statements validity

Date of application: 10th January 2021
Date of bank statements: 28th December 2020 [printed]
Date of biometrics: waiting.

Hello everyone, so I applied and paid for my student visa on the 10th of January and contacted the ODMV service in Karachi expecting they would be faster than any other appointment (as when I checked the first 3/4 days there were 0 appointments available and then when they were available it was for the 28th of January) however I haven't heard back from them in over 2 weeks after being told it would take up to 72 hours.
Today - as I'm panicking quite badly, decided to see if there were any appointments, I saw 5th of February available and thought to book it but I am unsure if my bank statements would work or should I request new ones and wait to book my appointment once they've been delivered?

Date of application is the date you submit and pay online and that is the relevant date for your supporting documents, it is not the biomteric appointment.

Sorry just for clarification, I would not need to request new bank statements? i should just pay for that appointment and get my biometrics done?

Out of interest, where were you reading that the dates of the bank statements must relate to the date of the biometrics appointment? It does seem clear throughout all rules and guidance that they relate to the date of application.

I just genuinely thought that due to the discrepancy between the application date and biometric date that it would be an issue.
