Ncs and application on hold

Hi all,

I have applied for naturalization today through NCS but the staff kept my application on hold as five years back i was out of country on today's date. I entered UK in 2008 and on October 6th 2010 went to india for 10 days. I was back on 16th. So she said i will have to wait until 16th of this month and apply on 17th. The second thing which she mentioned was i may not have to enrol my biometrics again for naturalization as i have already submitted my BRP at the time of ILR which was in 2013.

ALL applicants for naturalisation have to enroll biometrics, so the advice you have been given is wrong.

The other advice and reason for holding your application is correct. If you were not physically present in the UK 5 years ago on the same corresponding date that HO receives your application, it is an automatic refusal and loss of fee.
