Fee compensation for late decision

Hello, I'm waiting for my citizenship over 8 months now....I've heard that I can apply for fee compensation (sort of part refund?) because it's take longer for them than 6 month. Has anyone ever tried this? How can you do it? Thanks

Spare a thought for those forum members we have that have been waiting since late 2014 and mid 2015 for the outcome of their applications :idea:
