Referees signture in passport application

Post by Ahmedali29 » Sat Jun 17, 2017 5:33 pm

Hi guys,
just a quick question please, I am applying for my naturalization and passport in 6 weeks time through NCS. So I am filling in the NA form at the moment and meanwhile looking at the passport application. In their structure for the passport, they stated that “You do not need to complete section 10 nor have the 2 photographs certified. Details of referees will be collected as part of the citizenship application”.
1- Does that mean I Just need to ask my referees to sign in the NA form only?
2- If so, do I leave section 10 in passport application empty (countersignatory) as details of referees will be collected as part of the citizenship application?
3- My referees will be my PhD supervisors and their position is just lectures in business at university? Would that be okay?
4- If so, is it okay to have it signed it now while my appointment will be in 6 weeks time?
5- Final question, Section 4: it states that Grandparents' details are not required, I cannot find it in the form, I only found parents' details, do I fill this or do they talk about something else?

Thank you for your help in advance.
