Questions after submission of Citizenship application

Post by stalemate1123 » Mon Oct 28, 2019 1:11 am

Hello,

I submitted my application and provided by biometrics last month. Due to recently seen information online, I have a few questions:

1. Employment details

I came to the UK in 2010 and work part time in the first two years as I was studying. In the form, I assumed that they are asking for full time employment history only (which started from 2012) and only provided that. Is that going to be major issue?

2. I read the requirement for 'Evidence of National Insurance contributions' in AN form guide October 2019 version. This wasn't a requirement in the online list of documents I received while submitting my application. Is this a new requirement and do I have to worry about this?

3. I have two years of missing NI payments (2010 and 2011). As per the UK Gov website, this may be because I was 'employed but had low earnings' - I was working part time during this time. Does this have any effect on my application and do I need to pay these off considering Q2 where they seem to asking evidence of NI contributions now?

Thanks.

1. As long as you worked legally missing a few jobs shouldn’t impact ur application

2. Did you read who it was required by?

3. Nothing to be concerned about.

1. Thanks. I worked legally during that period.

2. No, I couldn't find who it was for. It was listed under Section 10 which I couldn't find further information on.

3. Thanks.

Are you EEA or EU? If not then it’s not a concern.
