Uploading online form questions

Post by Celia2020 » Fri Aug 07, 2020 2:31 pm

HI all,

I am new to the group and would appreciate your help with my citizenship application for the following questions:

1. If I have got my settled status, does it mean that I have to respond 'Yes' in the 'Previous Applications' section of the form (Immigration applications)?

2. If I had multiple jobs for the same employer, would I need to list these separately on my application or it should be enough to just state the first role and the length of time I have worked for that company?

3. English Test reference number: This one is very basic but do we have to include the dashes included in the unique reference number provided by the test centre or shall I just list the numbers and letters?

4. If I have applied for permanent residence using the offline forms and in the end I didn't add money on my card to be charged for the application would this affect my citizenship application? This was because I have eventually applied for the settled status as it was free.

6. Last question: if I want to enrol for the documentation checking service provided by UKVCAS how does this process actually work as I am a bit confused as to whether this is part of the BRP process and appointment or something completely separate.

Thanks all in advance and looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Please do not tag your questions onto other members topics. It is unfair to other users. Your post has been split to your own topic.
1. If I have got my settled status, does it mean that I have to respond 'Yes' in the 'Previous Applications' section of the form (Immigration applications)?
Yes and you have to list ALL applications you have made to UKVI from within the UK and abroad.
2. If I had multiple jobs for the same employer, would I need to list these separately on my application or it should be enough to just state the first role and the length of time I have worked for that company?
It is not per 'job role'. If you have been with the employer for say 3 years and had different job titles, you simply state your CURRENT job title/role.
3. English Test reference number: This one is very basic but do we have to include the dashes included in the unique reference number provided by the test centre or shall I just list the numbers and letters?
I don't know what the online forms look like so cannot comment.
4. If I have applied for permanent residence using the offline forms and in the end I didn't add money on my card to be charged for the application would this affect my citizenship application? This was because I have eventually applied for the settled status as it was free.
No issue.
6. Last question: if I want to enrol for the documentation checking service provided by UKVCAS how does this process actually work as I am a bit confused as to whether this is part of the BRP process and appointment or something completely separate.
Part of the appointment and they charge extra for the service. Note that they only check documents according to the generic checklist. They do not offer advice or anything.
