Hi all,
I'm at the last stage of my application, just about to submit my documents. I am a little bit confused, however. My 'Documents Checklist' lists both:
1) Evidence that you have been in the UK lawfully for your 3 or 5 year qualifying residence period. This should be evidence that you were here as a worker, student, self-employed, self-sufficient, retired or incapacitated person
2) Proof of living in the UK for Miss xxxxxxx for 5 years if applying in your own right or 3 years if applying as the spouse of a British Citizen
--> I have been a full-time student since I arrived in the UK so was hoping to submit letters from educational establishments. Would these cover both of the points listed? I don't see a difference between the two but maybe I'm missing something...
Likewise, the checklist lists:
1) The passport issued by Poland for Miss XXXXXXXX
2) Miss XXXXXXXX's proof of Nationality
--> I am a Polish national so do you think my passport would cover both points here? Also, do I just scan the photo page of my passport?
I am also aware of the CSI requirement. I have, I believe, a comprehensive insurance for the whole 5 years period except for the first 3 months of my residence.
--> Do you think that's ok (having all but 3 months covered) or may this be an issue?
My Documents Checklist doesn't explicitly list the evidence of settled status but I'm wondering if it might be necessary to include it as the 'proof of living in the UK'? If so, should I attach the letter from HO?
Thanks a lot for your help! Would really appreciate some!
