Naturalisation for baby

Post by Puki61 » Mon Apr 04, 2022 10:36 am

hi there,

We are expecting a baby in AUG , I have ILR granted , and my wife who has spouse visa.

Would you please let me know if the baby is eligible to get passport immediately without going to any ILR process?

Many thanks
Puki

Children do not naturalise, they get registered. In your case, the child will be born to a settled parent in the UK, so the child will be British at birth. No registration is required
