Child to British parent vs ILR

Hello,

I will soon (few months) become father and I currently have ILR.

I might become British Citizen before becoming father but that is not sure yet.

I want my child to be British citizen and my wife will give birth in the UK.

My wife also has ILR.

Is there any difference (time wise or fee wise) to child receiving British passport on birth if both parents have ILR vs if one parent has British passport and another ILR vs both parents having British passports?

The passport costs the same regardless. There is no difference in time or fees. You are overthinking.

I wasn't really afraid of the passport (printing) fee itself, I hoped that child doesn't have to go through naturalisation fee like I do with ILR to become British (paying over 2,000gbp in fees or so).

They don't. Also, it is not 'over 2,000gbp' for child registration anyway.

Provided the child was born in the UK, the child would be born British even if only one Parent has ILR.
