When does the Home Office start looking at application

Post by HMUKCit » Fri Sep 01, 2023 3:36 pm

Hi everyone,

I applied for UK citizenship about two weeks ago, but due to some personal circumstances I've had to postpone the biometrics appointment several times. I will now be going next week.

I was wondering if the Home Office will already be considering it? Or does the time start from the point at which biometrics have been submitted. I have already submitted the documents online.

Thanks for the help

Starts once you have attended Biometrics and your identity has been confirmed.
