No issues. A uk born child has an entitlment to register as british as the guidance says. A vaild visa or any visa is not required.Perhaps we will get our ILRs in March when her visa expires and then we will apply for her BC. Is there any problem with that? does she need a visa extension first? Why there is no clear guidelines on GOV.UK regarding that?
.NOTE: I knew some people raised the same issues two years ago but I thought the rules might have changed so I asked again
No requirement for your child to get another visa BUT if that is what you choose to do child won't be eligible for using the NHS for free and you should arrange private medical insurance while you wait for the outcome.ali210 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 2:22 pmHi,
My wife and I applied for ILR this month but did not include my child because she was born in the UK. I got an appointment on March 1st with a priority service. My daughter already has a PBS dependent visa and BRP which is expiring next month (on 28th Feb 2024) before our appointment for the ILR.
