Hi, can someone please advise?

After the naturalisation ceremony and receiving the British citizenship certificate, how soon can I apply for a British passport online?

I read on another forum that apply online after 48 hours 0f receiving the certificate, and can apply through the Post Office on the same day.

Can anyone please confirm if this is correct? I’m planning to apply online and would appreciate any guidance.

I have a question regarding referees for my nationality application.

In my nationality application, I provided two referees:

One referee as a friend

One referee as an accountant

I now understand that only one referee is required.
Can I use the accountant referee going forward?

He is also my friend, but in my nationality application I listed him as an accountant and not as a friend. Will this cause any issue, or is it acceptable since he meets the referee requirements?

Has anyone been in a similar situation or received clarification on this?

You can use the accountant yes, provided they are British and over 25.

It doesn't matter how they know you!! You are overthinking.
