Naturalisation 3yrs or 5 yrs

Hi,

My spouse applying for naturalisation. She is eligible 3yrs(married BC) and 5yr( living in UK for more than 5 years).

Question : Which is the best way to go for Naturalisation, 3 or 5 ? Is there any difference ?

Has your wife been granted ILR? She needs this before she qualifies for British citizenship.

Yes, She got ILR 2 years back.

Then it makes no difference at all which rule she applies under.

There is one difference. Under the 5 year rule, the intended principal home after naturalisation must be in the UK (unless a crown service exemption applies).

Hi,

In naturalisation form 2 references gave their personal (home ) address. Is that okay or at least one should give their employer address ?
