What is your actual question?
Is your child UK born?
Do you hold ILR?

How old is your child?
It is very difficult to understand what you are asking. What application have you made to the Home Office for yourself?

Your child is not stateless. He is eligible for Indian citiznehip. Child is not considered stateless if you don't apply for Indian citizensihp.
If you or your spouse dont have ILR or UK passport it will be refused stragiht away.
Whats your current status in UK?

This is not true, we were in the same boat.
we applied for our son under stateless route in July and fingerprints done in august.
Our son received his British citizenship under section 2 last week.
if you applied in September you will get result soon. Also your police caution will not affect the case.

There is a bit of an obscure loophole where if no nationality has ever been actively established and the child, born in the UK, has lived in the UK for 5 consecutive years, then they can apply under 3.5. There was a thread on the forum about them possibly closing this route, but as far as I'm aware, while it was discussed, it's been left intact.
