New Born baby

Post by zeeshan8800 » Sat Nov 10, 2018 8:44 pm

Hello everyone,

I have few questions to ask as this is making me some headache.

My current UK status is ILR which I got in August 2018. My baby born on 24th October 2018 in UK. As far as I know he is British born by birth. Do I need to apply for citizenship first for him via MN form and after that I will apply for British passport? Is the cost is around £1012 for MN Application and then £58.50 for passport? OR do I need to apply for British passport directly?

I also need to mention that my wife is currently going for Tier 2 extension in April 2019, so she can apply for ILR at the end of next year.

Thank you if anyone help me.
