Hi All,

I am just about to apply for naturalization but have a question about 12 years old CCJ. The CCJ was issued to me due to a bank loan since then it has been paid off and the record dropped off my file. I have no documentations for it.
I have checked my report to make sure all is well. My question is do I have to mention this on the application if so would I be asked for details and documentation in relation to the CCJ (I don’t have any). Other then this I have no other concerns or issues. I would really appreciate any answers.

Thanks in Advance

A CCJ record is removed after 6 years automatically. No need to declare it

Thanks for your reply Zimba,
One more question for you. I have been travelling in and out of UK for past 25 years. Am I expected to list all travel details going going to back to the last 25 years I have been living in the UK or should I just list the last five years as requested by the HO.
Regards
Tangon

Only provide what is requested by the application form, i.e. 5 years in this case.

Naturalisation after 25 years living in the UK

Hi All,
I have been living the UK for past 25 years and had the ILR for 20 years. I am looking to apply for naturalization now but have the following concerns. Wonder if someone could help me here.
I had 3 CCJs about 12 years ago and its all dropped my file. I don’t have any paper works for it. Should I declare it or its all gone for good.

I had a few parking tickets over the years, but it all been paid off. I haven’t had any in the last 12 years. Do I have declare it.

I had 3 points on my licence back in 2000 its been cleared now in 2004. I have the paper licence and can not get the up to date details of it from DVLA site (its only for Cards).

Any help would be really appreciated I don’t want to risk the ban of 10 years. AN guide says I have declare everything regards of how long it’s been.

Thanks in Advance.

Old CCJs, PCNs and points on your licence do NOT have any effect on your application. You may choose to declare them all they have no effect
