Time limit to move to the UK

I was just wondering, once a person gets their citizinship certificate and passport, do they have to move to the UK in a certain time frame? My father was born in the UK and he moved to Australia when he was 2. He hasn’t been back for 50 years and he hasn’t been questioned on it. I however have not lived inthe UK so was wondering will they question me or does it not matter when you move? My partner/I are currently in a 2 year lease which ends in 2021. I recently applied for citizinship.

There's no rule as to when or if you enter the UK as a British citizen.
