Naturalisation after Settled status

Hello everyone!
I’ve been a silent reader here for a while now, and now the need is of a question that I haven’t seen answered yet so here goes.

I am planning to apply for naturalisation, I am a non EEA family member, and have ‘settled status’.
I am currently also going through a divorce (With my EEA partner, but this hasn’t been finalised yet.

During a certain time of our 8 year marriage (we got married in 2012) my partner was self employed, with CSI, but I don’t have access to the certificate anymore.
In my own right, however I have always been employed full time.

Can I apply for naturalisation without having CSI certificates from my partner? Or would me having worked the entire time suffice?

Also, is it any better for me to apply after I have decree absolute, or does it not make any difference?

The first point is tricky since I cannot find this clarified in form AN guidance, and any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance!

I’ve been reading up and it is my understanding that the case workers may ask me for CSI documents, however it is still not clear if the same would apply if I apply after getting a decree absolute.

Thanks for replying on my thread, and as far as I know, which is not worth a lot you can apply for naturalisation based on the fact that your missus (your EEA sponsor) has been in employment for 5 years prior to having settled status, however, it’s probably best if you open a separate thread and ask someone who has actual expertise.

On to my own question-

If someone can please advise me that if I was to apply for BC based after getting my divorce finalised, would I still need to show CSI documents, if I have been a worker for the last 8 years?
My sponsor was self employed and at time of application she would no longer be my family member.

I have read that in accordance with retained rights of residence, if I were to make an application I would only need my own proofs of employment, however I cannot find anyone in this forum being in the same situation.

Please help!
