Error on citizenship certificate

Hi I applied for the citizenship for my wife and it was approved this month.Contacted with council to book ceremony and found out that there is an error on certificate as they issued it for minor instead of adult.They informed they sent back the certificate to home office to correct the mistake and they will contact us after new certificate arrive.
1.Can you please let me know how long it will take as i am planning to travel in October outside UK
2.Do i need to send any email from my side
